Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential, with rare exceptions related to imminent harm to yourself or others, or to abuse of a child or elderly person.
 
Confidentiality will be explained and discussed fully at our first meeting.

Also, my practice is a HIPAA-compliant entity; HIPAA is a federal law that governs disclosure of your private health information, which is especially relevant for those whose insurance will be billed for our sessions.
